“Crossing Paths” is an Original acrylic Painting which started out as a sketch made after a family walk in the Cornish countryside and captures a spiritual moment in time.
Crossing paths with a fox standing quietly in a field of gold, with two magpies flying above and the hawthorn tree overhanging, the moment felt very fleeting and special.
As the painting developed, the scene grew richer and more symbolic. Although the original plan was to paint a dormant hawthorn tree, it evolved into one heavy with red berries, bringing warmth, colour and abundance to the foreground.
